1 day ago · The main Far Cry folder has several good screenshots (they have doublets with debug info and stuff – I did not include them if I had a “clean” version). They date back to 07.07.2003: There is also an old screenshot from very early Far Cry era called “oldtrees.jpg”. It dates back to 19.04.2002: No Intro Mod. Works like a charm although not recommended for first playthroughs as it skips right to meeting Dennis or whatever his name is. Even when you start a New Game +, you still have to sit through the intro. Nope. After all the playthroughs I've done I just start a new game, mute the sound and screw around on the internet until I have to walk into the church, press x to handcuff him, walk back out of the church and then press x to get out of the chopper.

First time playing Far Cry 3 and I absolutely loved this intro. Reminds me of the Assassins Creed intros which obviously is a carry over from developers Ubisoft. But wow, I can see why this is a classic. I’m starting 3, then trying to grind out 4 and eventually 5. Wahoo!

Hi, I started on youtube and doing a serie on Far Cry 3. The only strike I received was for the very beginning of the game and the song played during intro. There is an option to remove the song and the copyright issue go away :). And important: in the end the intro is still fine even without the song. Check from 2:03 (you can even still hear a So alot of people find FC3's intro/tutorial a chore. So much so that Ziggy's Mod completely skips it. While I would be more than okay with that if I were to play the game frequently, FC3 is one in the series I only play every once in a while: I find it to be a very special game, but in terms of consistent fun and general gameplay feel I usually scratch my itch with FC2 and 4.
