As you say, seems to be activated by turning off the climate control from within the car. Not sure what it thinks it's doing, I get out of the car quick and lock the door!
R50 Mini models were powered by a 1.6-litre,16-valve, Chrysler-supplied Tritec engine. Apart from getting a chilli red mini one ( don’t start on the paint work lol) It’s a 56 plate mini BUT still a gen one. Now my issue is obd not working. I like to go back to basics with these situations. You know it is not down to the immobiliser if it's trying to start. Your engine needs fuel, air, spark and compression/timing to run. Pull the intake off and squirt easy start down the intake while cranking. If it starts you've ruled everything else out and can look more closely at the fuel
My problem is the display on the Rev counter that displays the outside temp / Range / mpg used etc etc. I have not seen it working until yesterday where it came on briefly after I had detail cleaned it. The display has a back light but no figures, I have checked the 4 fuses in the passenger compartment which are all fine.
Hello, Ive recently pruchased an 06 Mini Cooper Park Lane and I am having some problems with it, mainly: Indicators dont always signal inside car (fine on outside) Dash board dims. Rear Windscreen heater doesnt always work. Break lights stay on when parking. Main Beam does not signal when flash lights on dash board (fine on outside)

Did not want to hard wire so both front and rear cameras plug into the 12v sockets. Front cam from outside.

Cycle through the options on the dash display using the indicator stalk, one will show either LOW, OK, or HIGH and a little engine with temperature symbol next to it. If you leave it on that setting for a second or so, it will show you the temperature on a digital gauge. '64 Plate F55 1.5d.
