I tried many variants, including a 325d. The 330D LCI is both quicker and more economic than the pre LCI. I considered the 335D, but although slightly quicker, it's fuel consumption is much worse, and insurance, and two tubos, and it's not been updated since it's release about 200 years ago - so 330D is was. Definitely not, no. It will stream stereo audio in one direction. And for $8, there's not any chance in hell they've licensed codecs for the connection that don't suck, so it's basically guaranteed to sound bad. You do have other, much cheaper-than-a-mulf options though.

330D Fuel Economy - What to try first? Hi All, This week my 330D seems to be having some fuel economy issues so to speak, typically I'd get 24ish MPG town driving (start/stop) which returned 90 miles for every £20 of fuel but now I'm hovering on 18-19MPG. A few days ago the exhaust come away from the bracket (from down pipe to front muffler?)

yea usually the petrols are quicker but not for the 330i and 330d from standard they have identicle 0-60 times then the 330d has re-map options to make it faster due to having a tubro. the 320i is slower than 320d. the 325i is quicker than 325d. the 330i is the same as 330d. the 335i is quicker than 335d. I have a similar issue, also 330D E92 Auto although mine is Pre-LCI but has the 245 engine. Cold start is really lumpy unless you rev it a bit to get the engine going then its fine. Glow plug fault code logged (control), its been into BMW and had the glow plug and control unit swapped. Still no better. seems worse with the cold weather.
